Glen Dale Elementary Veterans Day Program Held

Glen Dale Elementary students and staff observed Veterans Day at a public program on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 1:30 pm.

The program was held at the Glen Dale City Park Veterans Memorial and featured musical selections and learning activities which educated the students about the sacrifices made for freedom in the founding of the United States of America and the values on which this country was built.

Following the program, the students participated in a patriotic parade of flags. Grisell Funeral Homes and Crematory donated the flags for each student.
